price seems low for that condition and mileage a few years back that would have commanded low to mid 80s

Default 993tt

Having looked extensively at this market for my car. Good, low miledge exaamples can be had under 65k. Some going for the high 50s or so. I saw many turbos, very high "asking" prices. Unrealistic, many go unsold, wait for a good one at the right price.58-63k is more in line with the market today.

As soon as 1.5 years ago while I was searching for my car, 15K milers were selling for the mid to high $70Ks while 25K cars were sub $70K. Car is priced decent if there are no stories, so maybe offer $67K and you will both walk away somewhat happy.

My experience says that this is ok as an asking price. Now, let the negotiating begin. I agree with orthohbb1 and the pricing he has indicated.

I contacted the seller today, but he is a man of few words...I'll try and get more detailed info from him tomorrow and post what I find. He bought the car in April of this year and it appears bone stock from the pics he sent.

I noticed from your thread, New Owner, you recently purchased a 40k mile '96 993tt. Maybe that explains your quote: "Good, low miledge exaamples can be had under 65k." While your 40k miles is "low mileage", for the limited 993tt market, some might consider that "high mileage".

With the limited 993tt market, if one can purchase a a sub 25k mile example for $58-63k, some might consider that a "bargain".
