NE1 in Houston with a black Ruf 993TT?
I was on I-10 pulling alongside a obviously gorgeous black 993TT. It had a Ruf badge on the lid.
When I pulled next to him in my 997 he didn't glance over (am I H20 scum?). Just curious if it's a RL member.

Anything else you was able to see indicating the Rufness of this "badged" Ruf?
Maybe he was too embarassed to turn your way...

This was the last straw. Most of today's sport car enthusiasts don't understand the fraternity. Oh well.

I don't wave at most newer 911 and Boxster folks. Because they never wave back.

Maybe he was ignoring you because he thought you wanted to race. I know I ignore cars and motorcycles that pull up next to me and rev their engines. But my experience is the same as Patrick's, water-cooled guys generally don't wave back. It could be that today's sports car owners are not true enthusiasts. Besides the I-10 I remember wasn't a good place to take your eyes off the road.

2nd I'm a dork and will wave to anyone in a porsche. All the waterboys give me strange looks and don't wave back.
Had a 997tt try to play on the highway once, I shot flames at him and that was the end of it.

LOL!
I had a watercooler catch up to me in traffic the other day to give the thumbs up/wave. I guess they're not all bad.

I think he tried but the "old school" guy wouldn't even look.
