Hate to get even a rock chip in that pup. Passing other cars leads to this ;-)

Thumbs up pic provided by PorscheMeister

^^ Craig-- Similar sentiment's in recent private message from PorscheMeister. I think you're on to part of his motivation to sell both GT2s.

I love it!!

The good and bad of building such a dream car is when prioties change you end selling it because of the value of it.

I have a couple of old motorcycles that have dropped in value so much that when I tried to sell them I could not. Last week when I rode one I was thrilled that I still had it.

Hope my C4S turbo conversion value ends up in the toilet as well so I am never tempted to sell it.

Thumbs up As long as you're enjoying it, it's all good

Here's to your C4S Turbo conversion being worth its weight in gold AND you keeping it!

Bert-- ^^ If PorscheMeister's moves closer, it just means cool photo-ops with your unique beast!

If you'd be happier if it stayed on the west coast:
From a much less respectable source (me!) -- a friend of a RLer's checking it out this weekend, for potential left-coast garage.

Regardless, some new owner's gonna be big-time happy.

I noticed some killer cool 993s have been FS on eBay the last few months. However, I couldn't help but think that seeing a masterpiece like PM's be built, & then offered to the public is potentially a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a lucky owner.

Seems like gems this good rarely leave their collection.

(Any updates on your art-in-progress? )

Hey Jaeger ,how goes it? Yeah really I have no substantiated intel other than hearsay but the source is
reliable..
My project is close very close, body and paint are done ,turning toward suspension and interior fitments
at this point, oh and the speedlines are completed and tires mounted (thanks to Jim D), Bert

Bert-- Hope your wide & wicked 993's nearing your garage.

Update @ subject black GT2 - a RLer says the deed is done, it's off the market, & will soon be in a friend's garage ...on the west coast.

Hopefully we'll hear from the new owner, or even better:

Still thinking about that Speedster project...definitely have lots of parts to get something new started.
PorscheMeister-- What say ye? Congratulations on the sale, if true. Some lucky enthusiast has an amazing machine now.

P.S. You should find a message from me.

Default GT2 gone....

Sale is completed and the new owner will pick up the car next week. It will be in great hands and will join many other fine Porsches in his collection.

I hate to see it leave....now I might have to get my white GT2 Evo back from FJ so I have something to drool over!!

Thanks, for the up-date

Hopefully the new owner will let the car come out to be viewed by the public from time to time. It is so nice.
