Default K24 Turbo Lag Fix

I have been having a problem with turbo lag and have come up with a solution. Lag is created by low gas velocity through the turbo. My fix reduces the turbines surface area thus increasing flow. SIMPLE, why more people do not do this I don't know ???

Anyone with a small home shop will be able to do this modification and realize the same benifits I am hoping for.

I'd email that to Weissach today. Porsche engineering is clearly unaware of this breakthrough.

Rick, Can you do this to my turbos?

How long does it take to do this modification?

Track season will be here soon and I need all the help I can get.

This is an April fool prank right? Can you imagine how out of balance that would be for a start, funny though

It's not the turbo giving you the lag... when's the last time you checked your muffler bearings

how does your hyflow run on a 993? All that info was on a 996, albeit very impressive

I think Ricks approach proved to have similar performance gains as Kevins.

Rick, please post your graph.

I did the same thing to my 16/24's...but didn't have a welder...I used Gorilla Glue instead...the first attempt w/duct take didn't last long...but the glue is still holding up fine.
