Talking 2 weeks left until track season starts, figured it was time put the fatty on a diet

Nice! I run 245/40 in the front and 295/35's in the rear but may try a 315 next time around. Did you have to remove the front fender liner?

Yes, the front fender liners are removed. Fitment will also depends on wheel offset...

Your not running ANY front fender liners? I run them just fine with those same tires.

Come to think of it i think just the fronts up by the oil coolers is removed, the rear section is still intact...

Don't you have to upgrade to gt2 fender liners josh? I heard they are much more expensive and thus vastly superior

lol a little birdy told me that the $$$$$ fender liners from Porsche Motorsports(only the rears are available) are simply two trimmed 993tt liners rivited together. I'll pass on the oem stuff and just fab them up myself using some donor liners

I think the front liner plays a part in the aerodymanics regarding how the air flow hits the front wheels (or so I've read). Your was probably removed to create negative pressure (i think its negative) to promote increase airflow through the oil cooler. And yes I stayed at a holiday inn express last night
