I'm giving the Hoosiers a go this season. 275f 315r. there's lots of room under there.

275f? You are insane.

Went 225 -> 235. Then tried a 245 but needed to remove the fender lining. Love the tire but can't imagine getting anything wider in there. Already hit the tub on full lock.

Default tires

for what it's worth, I'm running 275s up front and it's really hard to get enough heat in them. My car weights about 2400lbs, but I'm not using much of the fronts. You may be better off w/ a narrower front. My $.02

I had been running MSPC 265's for years, with fender liners mostly in tact. They got a little rubbed through on the front, but they're in there. Also a tiny bit of rub on full lock, but its rare i get to full lock even around pit and paddock. That said I went on tirerack to check out the R6's and if you look at the dimensions on the site the hoosier 275 measures to a hair less than the 265 mpsc. After buying and comparing this proved to be true. I have no problem getting heat in them either.

Correct 275 R6's are the same size as 265 MPSC. I even get some slight rubbing with 265 PS2's at full lock on my street setup. Oops should say I "used" to get, now I have plenty of clearence for big rubber under my fenders

Weird. Maybe it's my suspension or the way it sits. I can't imagine getting anything wider in front.

I'm not complaining - I'm very happy with the way my car is handling now.

What wheels and offsets are you guys using? I'm using 996TT hollows. I believe I have a 3mm or 5mm spacer in front.
