Thanks for the encouragement. We have to believe it will all work out.
Unforturnatley today she was in theatre again, but this time for a breathing pipe in her neck. Cant spell the word. At this stage it's one step forward and two back sadly.
Man, for a non christian we have been doing a lot of praying.

Got an update but it's not looking good. We are preparing for the worse possible outcome now. I feel ill posting this.
Tessa is having an MRI this morning. She should have woken up by now. They are telling us the truth which hurts.
Looks like there is a lot more brain damage now, but who really knows.
They think she was in the dark hole after the crash for longer then they thought now.
How can this happen aye. 17 friggin years old and after 1 month of University.
These kids have there whole lives ahead of them and some tourist on the wrong side of the road brings it all to this.
If there is a God he better do some bloody work right about now.

Bit of an update. They have at least told us that she's not going to die. Thats a huge weight off the shoulders. It was touch and go there last week.
Here we were writing eulogies in our heads.
She will have some pretty serious brain damage but with time, and being so young will be able to have a good life and relearn. It all depends on her brain I guess.
But this all depends when she wakes up from her coma which can be today or next year.
Here's hopeing.

So sorry to read of this tragic event. An angel...she is. So heart breaking.
My prayers and best wishes go to her, and to all your family in such difficult times. God help her, and your family. Seen miracles happen in very severe and tragic traffic accidents. Never lose hope. Never.

Bit of an update. Tessa is still in her coma but they flew her from Dunedin in the South Island, up to Hamilton yesterday. This is only 2 hours drive away as opposed to a 3 hour flight. It's sad, she is trying wake up and shows signs of moving/waking but in reality there is some pretty bad brain damage.
When her eyes opened there's no one home. Gutting situation.
What will be will be now. All we can do is wait and see.
