Default matte black?

Anyone have pics of a matte black turbo? I've seen Ferrari 430 and 997 turbos in person but have yet to see a matte black 993TT.

TIA!

on the c-gt forum there is a cgt matte black done with decals (he did it temporary for track).
this seems like a good idea: don't need to take car apart and can just remove stickers anytime.

the notion of this crosses my mind for my car. Maybe I could just wetsand it and not polish afterwards.

I've seen a number of cars using vinyl, the problem I see is the 993 shape might be to curvy for vinyl to work well. Plus a good vinyl skin job is $2.5-4k

I had a 1965 Dodge Dart that looked like that after I bondoed all the rust holes.

That matt looks amazing. I wouldn't do it myself though. I have at least 20 years of wax left to use.

Needs black wheels. But I'm surprised at how much I don't like it.

I like it The rear fender protector needs to be matte as well but otherwise looks good

Matte black cars are VERY cool in person but no so cool in photos

I don't like matte black on the 993. The 993 is a curvy, sporting design which works great with colors. Matte looks much better on sinister, angular designs such as the Reventon, lots of tuner 997s, and other more modern cars.

In stock form it looks like it is trying too hard to look mean, and it is not working.

In a sportier trim, people who saw the one below loved it, pictures don't do it justice. Not my favourite though.

David in LA......i don't remember where i found the pic but i had saved in since it was quite interesting.

I must agree that it doesn't look good on a 993. The matte black phenomenon is too modern for the classic rounded lines of the 993.

i always wanted a matte black 993...now after seeing the photos of one, i'm not sure i like it all that much. i think you guys are right...the matte colors look better on a modern car...lambo, 997, etc.
