I try to put something down from results after aero mod:

Long G values from 250 to 300 were
earlier 0.27 -> 0.09
now 0.32 -> 0.16

AX-22's hp calculation from 250 to 300 were
earlier ~650
now ~700
hp values in 5th gear from 210 to 230 were
earlier +680
now +750
These AX calculation were weight matched but with same CdA.. so that difference could be the benefit of windscreen and 997 headlights ??

Accelerations from 100 to 300
before 18.82
now 17.29

Somebody asked about my datalogging system..
I have own software which logs OBD channels and fast data aqcuisition channels (USB based Omega device, speed 50hz).
I can also import CSV files from other sources like from AX22 to my software.
So this enables very extensive data-analysis..
for example IC efficiency vs power..

Keep the vids coming, they are great - The runway looks to be a nice surface, flat and smooth, how was the stability at 300kph ? compared to before aero mods ?

The car felt very stable at +300, maybe that lowered roof helps..
As you see from the picture, the car stabilizes itself at highspeed

That is amazing, you seem to have cracked it, those lat Gs at 300 are negligable - Is the runway as smooth and flat as it looks in the pics ?
I suspect a lot of the Bruntingthorpe "wander" which we get is down to the surface being rough and cambered....

"my local airstrip" is pretty smooth compared to your Bruntingthorpe. Is that a closed airport or is it still in use because it looks so bad?
Surely this effect for performance.. The coast down test would tell more but I don't have any from there Have to do one later..

Yes Bruntingthorpe is still used but only by enthusiast type planes from what I can see like aVulcan Bomber - it is very rough and cambered and is pretty well known to give bad acceleration times.....

Your video got me fired up so let the new toy stretch its legs a bit



Its downhill so numbers are meaningless but can you say "STABLILITY" - jeez like its on rails - Jussi you are a bad man, your vids will get me in trouble
