jbryan,

Its sure funny how we all have so many connections. "Never flip anyone off on the freeway; they know your mother". I've often said that if I didn't own my Turbo R, I'd be out shopping for a GT3. Great cars, and with the Ruf suspension bits, it must be amazing. But oh my I do love my Turbo R!

Scott since you got your wheels Can I have your sway bars?

(inside joke here!) I didnt read the whole thread but keeping your wheels and getting a new set seems like the right thing to do. I hope thats what happened.

Since I have your attention Scott and Mr Mellor and Steve OFE.
Here is a HUGE announcement. Some of you know I have had
ONE twin Turbo 993 ONE 996 GT3 and ONE 997 GT3. I had to
sell all my Porsches because of my back. Well now I have a
AMG C63. I can get in and get out. Anyway Merritt said I could
get a 993 TT after my surgery!! might be awhile to make sure
everythings honky dorry with our finances given the world meltdown
but thats my plan. Might have to make it a RUF 993

Eclou, Arena red has always been #1 in my heart. Steve OFEs is just a beautiful example.

I think Mods and options may trump color POLAR Silver is just awesome when the Cowboys
were a Pro level football team.

Just a thought came up, if financially its still tight when I come into the market, and things continue the way they are going I MAY have to consider the 996 TT. If things continue the 996 TT maybe 10K cheaper than the 993. What do you guys think about that.
Gene will I be able to sit in a lower car with this flexible fusion procedure? Thats the deal breaker.
I am talking about next summer too, I wont be properly healed till next spring then I will start looking.
I dont think there are any arena red 996 TTs. I dont know much about them but that their cheaper.
Now that I know how to detail a car like a pro, BLACK might not be bad!! I can correct paint jobs now.

Tony - Come back to SoCal and you can try them out anytime.

Paul - No sway bars at this time but you are welcome to the vast collection of other worthless Porsche stuff I have. If you do decide to look for another 993, the search is a blast.

Steve - Yes I am returning my Mg wheels unless someone wants to buy them. Basically, I either return the Mg wheels or pay for the alum. ones. The only upside is that the rears are now 11's.

ooohhh shiny wheel pic

Scott,

Those are very purdy! My favorite wheels for 993 and not to mention very easy to wash.
