Default 1997 Turbo S

I've been searching for a 993 Turbo but came upon this auction for a 1997 Turbo S with 45k for $85,000. I saw it right when it listed, but when I checked back in 20 mins. the car had the Buy It Now used. Too bad it was red, as I would have bought it if it was another color. There's another red turbo S currently in service @ the dealership in Burlingame CA. Of course its not for sale...

Was $85k fair for this car assuming a PPI checked out.

The ebay auction # is 120249234656

that's the highest mileage I've seen on a 993TT-S in america but also the lowest price. It's a decent deal assuming it's all checked out, and AN ORIGINAL TT-S.

if it's a regular turbo with S parts, it's expensive to say the least at that price. Accident history? Clear Title?
Service History? all these are super important docs to have with a car of this provenance.

There is an Arena Red Turbo S in the Santa Barbara area that is used as a daily driver, and has about double that mileage on it. I believe it's owned by the original owner. AFAIK, its not for sale, this is just a comment on a higher mileage 993 TT "S".

That is a pretty fair price if the car is well cared for. It would be considered high milage, but the the sub 10,000 mile cars are selling in the $125-150K range with asking prices up to $200K. So I would say that for an S with good options and no issues from a check up that would be a fair price. That is what you would pay for a sub 20,000 mile 993 TT and about a $20K-$30K premium premium over what you would pay for a 45K mile 993 TT, which would sell for $55K to $65K. Only you can decide it it is worth the premium to you.

I'd love to see the arena red TTS. As for the red one on ebay, it was bought before I had the chance to email the owner a single question. Wonder will we see it for sale again. Does anyone know the MSRP in 97 for it?

Oh wells, nice car.

I wouldn't have paid more than 75k With a clean history it would be worth 100k-110k. Perhaps more for me.

The stickers were 150-165 or so.
