"I thought all TT-S came with sport seats."
thats a good question but it came with the Interior Carbon package and the AL instrument dials.
Now on to the deal:
CHuck I was going to say NO way Jose!! but I didnt see the turbo S designation
TURBO S ....S.....S!!
thats a fair price I think. But thats the lowest price for a turbo S I have seen then its also the highest
mileage I have ever seen on an "S" turbo. Then in the ad it says from a "Private collection"
well if its from a private collection it sure has ALOT of miles to be from a collection. OR it was the only
car in his "collection"
If its completely stock then the shocks are MORE than shot so those have to be replaced. So thats 5-10K depending on what route you go. It will be cheaper if you go the stock replacement route and more if you go the moton or PSS10 route. The steering rack probably needs a GOOD inspection so there are things on this car that can be disputed for price negotiation but that is a good deal on an S
but then what do you do with an S with 50K on the clock? Drive it is the obvious answer but then depreciation comes into play for the new owner so that car is kinda like in a Deadmans zone for Tennis or baseball.
This is a toughy.

From the pictures,
Front and Rear rubber bumperettes are not present.
Parking and tail lights appear to be converted to "Euro".
(Appears to be a USA car from the VIN provided.)
This car appears to have been lowered.
Appears to be some sort of turbo timer added above the center console.
Appears the owner really enjoyed driving this S.
Compare some TT S here:

I think I know this car, but would need to see the carfax to know for sure. If it is the car I know, here is the story: It came up on Ebay in about 2005 and had a but-it-now of like 90k and had 40k miles or so on the clock. I called the guy and agreed to buy it subject to a PPI for 85k. He ended the auction and sent the car out for a ppi. The PPI showed that the car had been completely repainted The paint was nice, but very thick everywhere. I opted out of the deal. He subsequently relisted it and sold it for about 89k.
Not 100% sure that this is it, but it looks to be. It was red/black, had the corner lights replaced, no bumperettes, etc. In the end, 85k was cheap, but I ended up paying a bit more for a much nicer car with fewer miles that was 100% original and I was more certain about.
If it is the same car, then 85k might be the right price, but it is not a steal. If is is a clear car without any stories and only a couple of private owners, then it is a great deal.

I cant belive the comments about this car,no good beacause the paint is too thick?
I cant stand the sales prevention officers who measure the paint on a 12yr old car and if its more than a few microns over the depth they "think" it should be suck air through their teeth knowldgeably and shake their heads saying" this has had some paint".If the paints been done properly that does not make it a bad car mines been painted and the depth and lustre is superior to std IMO everyone to their own but would suggest provenance and mech issues would be more of an issue for an inspec here.
The only reason I can see to crab the car is if its been clocked /any panels replaced,or not a real S.
For what its worth in the UK thats no miles mine has 81k on it there are plenty for sale in the uk with over the 100k.
