the bypasss pipes espeically with gutted cats sound like a mototrboat my girlfriend even said it makes the car sound like a cheap pos, with the stockies its smooth wind blowing classic porsche sound, music to my ears bypass pipes are like a motorboat clanking and popping. Sounds like my old GTO with glasspack mufflers. I found myself explaining myself each time i turned the car on, almost apologetically telling the story of how i am going to mend this problem. i havn't noticed a drop in performance since i reinstalled the stockies. And the car is much more pleasurable to drive

I got these from fellow RLer and 993tt owner aceparts - they work perfectly and apparently give an extra 4mph at the top end

Probably, but I will not be going any faster than 300kph in the 993tt - That is my self imposed limit and is plenty fast enough.
The car is geared (with the current wheels/tyres to 193mph) so at 300kph(186.4) it is virtually maxed anyway.
I guess you probably didn't see the lateral G data last time I took the 993 over 190mph....

I will leave 300kph+ speeds to our other 993tt heros -the CGT on the other hand with its +300kg of downforce is a different proposition
