Remember TB, any additional speed may be attributed to the aero wipers (providing they arrived)

The tray effect being such a hot debate, I asked a German Porsche driver and friend of mine, Bergmeister, who is in my house. He has been on the race track from the age of 3 and is a close friend to Shumi as they used to race Karts together etc.. He races in ALMS, FIA GT, Supercup, 24H of Nurburgring, ex-F3 etc.. and also happens to own a 993 Turbo S (see how we are real connaisseurs? )..

I also asked Konstantin, who is here as well and who has been the race engineer for many of the top Supercup and Carrera Cup teams in Europe and the US.

Their opinion is that the tray DEFINITELY makes a difference with lift. He mentioned how the 997 Cup cars have a very flat bottom and how a simple damage on the front lip on one of the Cup cars makes the high speed handling horrible. They use sensors on the shocks to establish the amount of lift that different setups produce, measured in millimeters and then extrapolated to lbs, and corresponding car movement through different strategically placed sensors. Serious stuff.

My tray on my stock 993TT is on all the time BTW, even with the hot weather that we have.
