I just bought a 1995 btr from wayne and wanted the same bumpers and was told they are not made anymore. I have found the guys at RUF to be helpful and honest.

Since the BTR is constructed on a narrow body, you'd have a lot of trouble with the rear CTR-2 bumper, even if you could find one. The front CTR-2 bumper will fit fine. But... leave that BTR alone!

Just noticed that you have a Ruf short shift, how do you like it? Just wondering what the difference is from the stock one that i think i have. PS, I lost sleep with Steve's Car for 6 months prior to getting mine. A have been re-born with mine to say the least, but since this thread all a can see is RED. Hurry up and get all the mechanicals done you'll never regret it. (no affiliation)

Love the short shift. I had one on my 84 911 but it was Porsche's that they had offered for the car. Believe it or not the Ruf is much more user friendly but without the long throw. Drove my brother's car over the weekend (94 3.6 turbo) and the throw felt more "nochey". Ruf short shift is very smooth IMHO. WANT THE BTR!! But 52k is what Ruf quoted me. Still debating if it is worth it......i know it's worth it. You know my car is not a Ruf but the fact that I am one of the few NA 993 with the front CTR bumper makes my car special to me. Some say it doesn't look right......maybe to them but they haven't seen the car in person. I think it looks pretty good. Ruf faithfuls look down on it (screw them) but what the hell I love me car that that's whats important. By the way your car is awesome brother!

The CTR2 bumpers on Red are very nice, congrats
Where did you find a short shift kit? Neither the RUF kit nor any other kit are available for the 993TT FWIK (you should dimple the transmission tunnel)

All I can say is that it looks absolutely stunning. The RUF bumpers and wheels really transform the look of the 993TT into something really special. Congratulations.

Hi Graeme,
Not yet. I'm being offered a racing Evo which we are considering with a friend, because a racing car requires much more care than a street one and is not something I would do alone. This will be fun for our track days. Going ahead slowly anyway, because that there are many fakes between them and because I do not have a clear mind between racing car and street car. In the meantime I am going for 993TT to Turbo R upgrade, to keep me busy over winter...
Best,
P.

PS: Sorry for the OT, Mel
