Only thing holding me up with the RUF upgrade is your stage I or stage II!!!

Feels like a nice alternative to get a crazy fast and reliable car for a fraction of the cost...

I can't believe I can get my red 993TT to look like this the car looks amazing . Those 19" wheels are the nicest looking on a 993TT by far. Would you mind sharing where to buy these wheels from and $$$ ? I have a second front RUF bumper but I have cut it to make it fit my silver GT2 flared TT as a spare

Jean,

Red is a pretty cool color. Was never a fan of red cars, especially red porsches, but once I saw one in the flesh I totally changed my tune. When it was time to pick up a 993tt, GR was the only color for me.
You can see this car coming a mile away!

As far as the wheels are concerned, I purchased mine from Weissach just before they stopped selling ruf parts. Can't recall the price exactly, but I think they were in the $4200-$4500 range. I went with 8.5's up front and 11.0's in the rear. have you tried RUF in dallas?

Locating the bumpers was a real challenge. Ruf is totally sold out and not making these any more for the 993's. Also, after a long search, I couldn't find any aftermarket company that was making these either. only hope is to find them second had. I totally lucked out and found a brand new, never painted front bumper and rear from 2 different parties.

You're silver car is the Ultimate. Can't see any 993tt ever topping that!

Kevin,

Your car looks absolutely awesome. And much as I agree the UMW Stage I or II is a great alternative for the price... your car is already half Ruf... you have no choice now but to finish it as the real deal, Ruf Turbo R. Please.

Jean there are a couple of sets of those wheels that keep getting passed around over on the 6spd classifieds in the $2k ballpark.

Fist on topic: Great car!!! Looks great with the Ruf kit!

Scond off topic: Ruf Wheels! They look fantastic and in my eyes one of the nicest Wheels for the 993tt!
But i give away my set of 19" Ruf wheels because they are so heavy that i get a shock!!! The rims are ca. 3-4 Kg per rim heavier than fpr example the 5-spoke 19" rims from the 997!

In my opinion that is extreme!

Greetings Christian (back to 996 hollowspoke)

Again the car looks stunning Kevin.

Ruf no longer makes the CTR2 parts. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a front and rear bumper?
