993TT in higher speeds..
I have tested my car in private roads and an airports at high speed...
Specs:
I have new Bilstein PSS9 which are 4 wheel balanced with Porsche specs.
They are 1cm lower at front and 7mm lower at rear than stock.
PSS9s has been set up 2 at front and 3 at rear (that stiffness).
Tires (Michelin PS2) are also in good condition.
My car uses stock aero parts.
But when I drive fast, like above 250km/h, the car feels unstable and dangerous to drive.. So for example 280 feels like suicide
Is it because the ruts in the road
or are these cars just so bad even they max. speed is 290 ???
or what else can be a reason?
Have anyone else noticed that thing?

The 993tt is a car that was designed some 15 years ago - so you cannot compare it to a modern 911 or other brands.
You have to work behind the wheel and after 2-3 hours of high speed driving I am personally very exhausted, especially since the autobahn is much more demanding than a regular race track due to traffic etc.
Nevertheless I can take my 993tt to 320 km/h, it is a perfectly safe car as long as you are fully aware of the road.

But I don't know are those good settings. They are first what I have been tested.. should I change them to what ?
I haven't check that alignment. The car came from some company and I trusted them. btw. How can I check that alignment myself?

I don't know exactly what you mean..
But when I hit 280km/h, it felt like front was very light and lively and unstable.. and that's why I had to start braking.. but that road might be also in bad condition (the ruts in the road)..
maybe too little downforce at front? I have that Turbo S front spoiler but I haven't installed it yet, it might help for that?

Does anyone have better "high speed experience" with different front spoiler, like that Techart spoiler?
It was also in that "RS rocket science" car which went +350kmh easily (but it was narrow body)..
Or does that "turbo S" or RUF front spoiler make any difference?
Thanks for info!
btw. When I finished car's front end lightening, like LW battery, CF hood, no spare or tools, carpet off, etc..
I felt that at corner the car was worse to drive.. there was more understeer feeling and I had to cut speed(under 80kmh) at my well-known corner(90degree) way to my work..
so conclusion of that, there might be need for more downforce/agressive front spoiler?
