Well I can at least say I saw 2 of the weirdest 993 TTs ever in one post. Obviously these cars are not exercised on a track. There is absolutely no advantage to taking one of the best looking and best designed 911s EVER and putting on those wheels other than pimping them out. Even the 997 GT3 which comes stock in 19's works better with 18" wheels.
Now all we need is the green TT with the gold interior
Are you for real? These cars were built for the street first. Great if you track you car but..... Get a life. You think to much.

I think the wheels look awesome. Nice car!

Bottom line is a good driver will rock with either set of wheels.

Peace. Really. Everyone take a breath and please think about what you type.
well... **** you just talked me out of buyin' your ol' flame steve...

fwiw: i like both 18's & 19's on a wb. sidewall & wheel damage issues would be my major concerns but, to each their own. i would def. beef up the suspension from stock for either...

some of the various 19" wheel styles do look much more bling than others. i'll add. imho, if the wheel design doesn't take away from the car: i'm all for it.

like to think of the wheels as a frame around a painting. imho should not over power the car.

just another 993-ers opinion... i'm not a big fan of those wheels on a 993, in 19" or 18" (but i'm sure it will get comments & looks). you posted. but hey, congrats & glad you're happy w/ it.

One more advantage of 19's is you can fit really big 380mm brake kits under them

I have 18's though.

I like 18's better than 19's but I like the fact that you picked a style of wheel that pays a little homage to the original wheels. Nice.

Wow, what's happened to the 993TT forum?

This used to be probably the most technical and respected forum on Rennlist and now it turned into some juvenile behavior and getting personal ? Oh man that's really really low... 993TT owners, raise the level! You used to be top of Rennlist - please keep it that way!

----

First of all, if Topsupra wants to run 19" because of the looks then he should.

Second, OG's "opinion" might not be the answer expected, but he's right. The TT isn't really doing its best in the performance department on 19". It doesn't really take long with the search function to find more info about it.

P.S. Steve, come on! We all know Waldo was very nice, but Rufus is the bigger brother in ever aspect
