Default Is that too big and ugly..

Boost gauge installation?

I'm just trying to find suitable place for that FVD boost gauge. I bought a Revotec CF style mount for it but that combo looks very clumsy.
Or should I swap that boost gauge and clock, so that clock will be in that mount and the boost gauge in the clock's place? What do you think?

Looks clumsy.
Swap out the clock for the gauge and be done with it.

Totally forgot about that.

How about like the Andial one in the driver's side left a/c vent?

Or with the housing you have, how about mount under the dash?

Maybe on top of the center console?

The Andial one that mounts in the vent is pretty useless. You really don't want to look down around your left knee to check it out when you hit the hairdryers in 3rd gear. Things are just happening to darn fast.

Just tape and tuck the clock without disconnecting it behind the boost gauge, that's how I have it and many other people here, it is a perfect location.

Ouch, that is a huge boost guage!

I got a Blitz and suction cupped it at the far left/bottom of the windshield. I fits nicely in the 'valley' between the a-pilar and instrument cluster "hood".

That's gigantic, not sure it will even fit if you leave the clock....maybe not even by itself. Do they make a smaller one?

Thanks from comments.

This FVD boost gauge is as large as clock, 80mm. But that mounting kit just makes it look very big.

I had also an idea that I would mix these warning lights from clock and boost gauge interior instead of clock interior. That would be the most effective way but don't know if it is possible..

That is very similar to my setup with the Blitz gauge. The only difference is it just suction mounts to the windshield.
