Most of the road going GT-2's have engines that are no different from the 430 (ECU and oil cooler) or 450 (K-24's, ECU and oil cooler) bhp engine upgrades that could be bought from the factory for ROW tt's...

Porsche had several stages of tune available for the GT2. As long as you use porsche motorsport parts/factory parts you won't get hurt.

I reckon it will take a few weeks to get the deal done. She has a half cage trimmed in dark blue leather and the bucket seats again in leather. As and when the deal goes through I'll post some interior pics. Everyone tells me don't mess around with her as it will kill the value but 430bhp just seems a little mean to me. Back in touch soon. I would second the car's beauty, and the request not to modify it. This car is a RARE piece of automotive art and history. It would be depriving future generations of the experience of a GT2 to molest this car. Please don't.

Got to drive her on Saturday late afternoon. What can I say other than she feels like a 964 Carrera RS but far more compliant(and a lot quicker). She has that unique feel that RS's have but bumps that would make you winse in an RS before you hit them, the GT2 just soaks them up. Those chaps at Porsche are very, very clever. Subject to an inspection the deal is done. As far as mods go I'll take your advise and leave well alone. At the end of the day just how fast can you go with the UK's obsession with speed camera's etc.

You are a lucky, lucky man Graeme. I'm glad you decided to leave well enough alone.
