Default Differences between TT and GT2

Besides the obvious RWD and flared arches, when you get down to the nitty gritty, what's different? Most importantly are they £100K quicker than a TT?

Before we start, it's based on the TURBO body shell......
Different suspension uprights
430 (tt option) as standard

The 993 GT2 is the most stunning, aggressive Porsche production car made IMHO. They did not make too many of those either, and only available in ROW (no US models). I think the price differential is due mostly to the exclusivity of the 993 GT2.

Adrian Streather (The Essential Companion) puts the total production number at 172, seven of which were known RHD cars. Don't know if the 21 GT2-Evo's he also quotes are in that number or are in addition to it.

But I read on the internet, on wikipedia, the font of all knowledge, that it has 12; this must be true!

So are the 21 part of the 172 or in addition to them? And is your one of the *very* rare RHD versions? Either way - congratulations!

That's why I reacted. I think someone on Wiki have been confused with the very last EVO race cars who had twin plug from factory.

another question:
How does the street GT2 differ from the 993rs (besides the TT motor and wide bodywork).

None of the 21 evo's were rhd, all lhd.

I believe the 21 to be in addition to the 172, but there's debate on this. Not that an extra 21 makes them common as muck!

The 993 GT2 is based on a wide body shell albeit with additional seam welding (in places not fully) and a few areas that have strengthening plates welded in.
