I finally got it home...
After writing off my 1997 Carrera S in an accident, I have now finally settled with my insurance company (what a valuation nightmare!) and picked up my new-to-me 993tt in Speed Yellow on Black Sport Seats. It's an all stock (for now) and unmolested local car, one owner and only 33,000 KM on the clock.
Here goes the slippery slope of mods...
Does anyone have a three spoke steering wheel for sale? I had a Gemballa on my last car (same as the Ruf) but unfortunately, the airbag deployed and I was not able to get just a center section from Gemballa. I would consider a non-airbag 993 RS steering wheel if anyone has one of those kicking around.

Thanks for the lead on the steering wheel Tony. I've emailed him so we'll see if it's still available. As for pictures, none yet but I'll snap some this coming weekend. It's almost embarassing how high it sits

My wife hates the SY but who cares? She has her car and it's black. After owning so many silver, grey and black cars, this is a refreshing change and rare too. I have never owned a yellow car before.

Hey Alon,
Great to see you in a 993 Turbo now! Where did you find such a young car? Is it the yellow car that Weissach has sold a few times? I think that car had gray seats though, but speed yellow is one of my favourite colours of all time. If there was a SY 993TT when I bought mine, I would have gone for it. Congrats! We should go to the track together sometime, there is already a sister car to mine that always comes out.

Thank you all. This car was privately owned and sold to me by its original owner who drove it on the best of days. It's not the Weissach car. Here is a pic of it just before I picked it up complete with the Canadian spec 4x4 suspension ride height
