Post Found a 97 Turbo S for sale

I have no affiliation with this company or the owner of this car, but I saw it on sale and I know this car is quite rare. Here is the link:

Holy Shmoly. And my wife thinks I'M a nitwit about my car. Read the details... its pretty scary. I better check my taillight lenses for wax around the raised letters.

I've seen a couple of TurboS models forsale on the West Coast recently.

Here is one from the local 2nd hand dealer here in Seattle (again no affiliation or knowledge of the actual car).

I agree - sounds like a weird story to me.

Cool

I saw this car before, it is a Canadian car and
converted to US version. But the seller claims
the Canadian and US are the same car.

When I was first researching the 993TTs, I thought the S version was my dream car. There was no way I could justify the cost, however. Now I am glad I just got a regular version as the first thing I would have done to an S was tried to figure out how to make it handle better, go faster, look nicer, etc. (which is a no-no for a limited car like that). As it is my wife already thinks I am nuts when she sees me doing things like polisihing the clear bra on the hood (you are right Jeff, what the hell is wrong with me).

As it is, the 993TT is almost like have a very large piece of art sitting in the garage. A 993TTS would be exactly that (at least to me).

Is it a no-no because of future value of the car?

So what mods would be allowed? Only those that are truly reversable? I guess my RUF pedals and MY02 shifter aren't going to keep that stock look!

Hi Bobby - yes, that is what I meant. Really though, it is your car, so drive it and treat it as you wish. I am of the mind that good mods add value and certainly pleasue to the whole P-car experience. My point was that if I had a Turbo S I would probably never drive it or mod it for fear of harming a piece of Porsche history - but that's just me.
