John,

You know the funny thing is that I told her about this thread last night and she said exactly the same thing: "if your wife nags you about your car parts, she wouldn't be around..." She knows I love my car. Her only question is why I would buy another steering wheel when the old one is just fine? I tell her it's a guy's thing.

I haven't done that many mods to the thing. But I do lurk ebay and other cheap sources. My big purchase is going to be Cat Bypass and PSS-9.

And yes, I love my wife!

Regards, Eric

John: Steve from Moorpark tried that. We all went on a cruise to Ojai so his wife could meet Karen, hoping it would rub off. Didn't work. Last I heard, Steve is not allowed to play with me any more.

"If my wife nags me about spending a couple hundred bucks, she probably wouldn't be my wife for long." That could work, dumping the wife, but it could be pretty darn expensive, at least in CA and VA. Around our house we have adopted a "Beg For Forgiveness" rather than ask permission. Try this approach, but be prepared for some pretty chilly evenings. Before long, wifey will begin to think you have an "addiction" (You probably do, at least I know I do). She may then understand from whence you are coming.

Pay Pal is good if you have a separate checking account, and cash from selling odds and ends into the gun safe is a good approach. Consider selling your blood plasma for $25 a pop. If you have some good strong hepatitis antibodies in your blood, about $150 a donation, 2X a week.

Before long, your stash will be overflowing! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
