John,

Thanks for that news. Would you have Charles's current contact, such as e-mail address etc.? Both Alois and myself would like to reach him to renew our friendship. His Bitburg e-mail address is no longer active. I have a hunch he might be in the East Coast (PA) somewhere.

Thanks again.

CP...Unfortunately I have lost track of Charles' current address. He could stilll be a member of PCA so you might try there. BTW...I spoke to Alois a couple of days ago...I have an 08 GT3 going through his shop in a week or so,. one of the last production ending in December 07.

I would have signed up sooner but did not know this existed. I need to review some of the other cars hear. There are some fabulous examples.

Pranqster, I very much like the look of your rgt. It's perhaps the only 996 I can see myself owning!

WHB Porsche

Thank you very much for the complement. It is very difficult to find a 996 that looks good and certainly my RGT is put together much better than from the Porsche factory. The Porsche factory 993 and 997's look much better than the 996's and of course the pictures of the RUF cars here are quite amazing. I have not seen anything quite like my RUF RGT. I think as far as 996's go, that is a good thing.

Definitely. It's hard to have a unique 996, but you've succeeded.

I want to bump this thread to the top to make for easier viewing for Marc Bongers, who was interested to see what this thread was all about. Welcome Marc.

Good morning guys,

After preparing the project for one month and a half, I finally dropped my 993TT yesterday in the excellent hands of the RUF Team in Pfaffenhausen for a full conversion to 993TurboR

The overall plan is so good that I already can't wait to pick her up after conversion...

If Mr Bongers is reading us, please Marc say thanks to everybody on my behalf
