Amazing that these GT2s are selling for these prices when I can get in certian places 100 HP more at least with the same stock K24 turbos, an ECU reprogram and a boost controller for $3k, GT2 mag wheels for $4k, a body kit for $3k and you're done
Seriously though , these cars are selling for sick prices, much more expensive than the EVo versions.

canysmc - i have looked into bringing one into the states... not easy.
Jean, what would it cost to take a stock 993tt and make it into a stock factory 993gt2?
Or, what else is different besides removing the awd, bodykit and mag wheels?

This car has now sold for very close to the asking price. In the last 6-7years 993GT2 prices have gone through the roof. Minimum for an original panel good condition car now is circa £100k GBP! There is another for sale in the UK, Audi RS Blue RS Tuning twin spark engine (much better than the Mickey Mouse tuned lump I have in mine!).

I was being a bit cynical about getting the 550HP for $3k . These cars deserve every penny (almost!)..IMO less overpriced than the the turbo "S" considering their limited production and features.
If you would like to know more about these cars, I posted sometime back bits of information.GT2 info

jean.. thanks for the link.
I didnt think 550hp costs $3k , but given the engine is the same as a chipped TT (430hp), i always wondered what it would cost to 'make your own' street 993gt2 and still be almost-factory.
Is the body stiffened in any way besides the strutbar?
yes, i agree, a real gt2 is far more desirable than a TT-s.
its really too bad that PCNA did not sell any into the USA.

The body is stiffened in as much as it is seam welded in certain areas. There is not great areas of seam welded chassis on the car, the easiest place to see it is in the engine bay.
