the front straight is not the fastest part of the ring
last third or so is uphill, so no v-max records here.

Well, that's certainly good news! I'll have to remember that the next time.

Last time I had the car 130+ and felt a tad flighty, car was lowered on stiff springs. I recently installed PSS10, so perhaps that will make a difference.

That night, I saw the digital speedometer (said to be fairly accurate) climb all the way up to 315 km/h (195mph). I did not max it although I could have, I just felt bad for it being that long on the redline lol..

The digital speedo reads the same as the needle - its standard for them to read 10% higher than actual speed. Try it with a sat nav that records speed, it will be more accurate. Oh, and by the way, silver tt's are always the fastest............

Hey MegaLOL yes, engine-wise my car is pretty much stock apart from a complete FVD exhaust system and few other ECU tweaks. It is amazing how quickly these cars reach these speeds if you "allow" them.

Stewart how many times have you maxed out your 993? Because I can tell you my needle was glued to 320 km/h when my digital was still climbing, so when I say, they don't read the same, is because they don't. I don't make stuff up as I go along. And what in the world makes you say silver TT's are quickest? That doesn't even make sense! I've heard silly -plausible- things about arena red 993 turbos, but that one is by far the most absurd. Sorry.

fpCruz, you were likely doing about 305kph maximum, the standard speedos digi and analogue are waaay out - as has been said, get out the GPS and take a look for yourself, will be educational

And the other guy is talking crap, iris blue ones are the fastest, everyone knows that

Just yanking your chain, chap. Seemed like the thread was degenerating into a "mine are bigger than yours" contest.
