labcars' generously displayed his wonderful selection of cars on the last pre-snow day on Saturday! What a treat. Enjoy.

Ran, thanks for coming by yesterday and running around with me. It was fun. Thanks for taking some pics too. Hope you enjoyed driving the Club Coupe and the ride in the CGT. Given what it looks like out the window today, it might be a while before the CGT sees any more time on the road!!! Feel free to post the plate! LOL. Gotta do another drive soon, though!!

labcars, it is obviously a given that I loved the CGT. What a blast and thanks MUCH. Moreover, the CGT certainly treated me to new noises the likes of which I have not heard before; great treat and education for any auto enthusiast. And I enjoyed driving the 997 Club Coupe. THANKS much. Although I have driven a 997 before, this one seemed surprisingly versatile and full of creature comforts too. I guess your encouragement to push it a bit was better than the dealer drives I had before!

Let me know when in the mood for another drive! Snow is all gone and the GT3 is ready for tomorrow (they did not drop any salt this time so it looks just fine)!

Additional pics posted above. Next time I should take pics of the 356 and the 993 C4 Cab. Alas, my favourite is out west.

Cheers

Les:

How the HELL did you manage to get that plate on the GT??? That is great! Absolute classic. I am going to have to check to see if that is available in CA. Beautiful cars.

Cheers.

Mark, only allowed 7 letters in PA, so it's missing an "s", but those in the know get it! LOL. Good luck getting it in CA.

A few questions:
Did the U.S Turbo S come with twin talepipes?
Shouldn't it have bumperetts?
Where are all the ***** that are supposed to be above the radio console?

Rassel, the Turbo S came with twin tailpipes, as did the '94 flachbau. The PO had the bumperettes removed and clear turns installed as well. There are two ***** that are obscured by the angle of the interior photograph. Good questions and catches! You guys have SHARP eyes.

BTW, Justin, you are, of course, right about the wheels. I have a set of Turbo S wheels at home in Scottsdale which came off my earlier blue '97 S, but I think the car will wear Fikse FM5's (I'm really partial to them) after it has the suspension work done. If you're a purist that thinks the factory got everything right, then I'm not the guy for you. the classics that I own are dead stock, because of what the represent historically, but everything modern I own is personalized in some way. Hope this doesn't offend the purists.

Well Les,

We actually do really enjoy the pictures and look so close at them that we either pop an eye or end up with questions..

I must say you have a wonderful collection there. Also nice to see that you have various cars in various colours!

With another "s" it's the German word for sh*t. It takes a good sense of humor to put that plate on any car, much less a CGT!
