'97 Turbo S---my new addition
Ok, so I saw the ebay listing for the red/black '97 Turbo S with 44k miles. I called the seller this morning who told me the car was being PPI'd for a prospective buyer in NY, but told me I could go look at it where the PPI was being done. Went with a friend and took a look and called the seller and said I was ready to write the check. He came over twenty minutes later and we did the deal. While we were there another prospective buyer from Colorado called wanting the car. Good thing this was relatively close to home so that I could be Jonny on the spot. Drove home my newest toy for $89k!!!!! That's what modest miles will do to values. Bought it as a driver and figure I wont lose anything on it even if I decide to sell it in a few years with 50k miles. Don't have pics, but the ebay lisiting is still up: Item number: 4592811290, if anyone wants to take a look. Now I can drive it like I stole it cause I think I did!!

pstoppani, I agree. I thought that there had to be something wrong here, but it was just the miles. Everything else has checked out fine.
Only1Buck, I don't know if that was the car or not. I wasn't really in the market for anything, but when I saw this and the price, well.......... Thank goodnes for a great and understanding spouse! LOL

Thanks for the kind words Steve.
Viperbob, I'm still smiling from having caught this before someone else. Every now and then you get lucky. Pics to follow when I get back from a biz trip next week.

Every once in a while a deal like this pops up. No time to think about, which has scared me in the past. Cool!

Well done! Beautiful car at an awesome price. I buy most of my cars with about 40,000 - 50,000 miles, and they have never let me down. That's nothing on a modern car if it's been well maintained.

Ok guys, I'm starting to feel like the last man on earth without a digital camera and the knowledge to up load pics. So, here's the offer: anyone local enough to want to come over and shoot pics and post them for me gets a ride in everything....AND gets to pick anything they'd like to test drive (yes, including the CGT). Any takers?
