I hope it's not a fraud. Excellent deal if not.

The auction has over a week to go, so a bit early to determine if its a good deal or not. Sure does look like a nice car... except that it needs a proper rake and alignment.

Newbie here. I had the Tulsa car PPI'ed by the shop owned by the president of theTulsa PCA chapter. It came in looking pretty good. 3% on the leakdown. Odds and ends need fixing but not more than one would expect for the vintage and mileage. RUF also confirmed that the car's motor is strong . I'm probably going to buy it (price was negotiated down to 60k including delivery and some other odds and ends).

One PPI line item that caused me a bity of pause was an oily substance on the trunk carpet. Anyone have an idea what this might be from?

Also, I'm going to go back to the M030 suspension ASAP so if someone wants to swap me plus some cash, let me know. I'm in San Francisco. I might even go back to stock exhasut so the Fabspeed might have to go as well. Henry

Could be a bad clutch slave cylinder or just a leaky bottle of oil in the trunk. I've got some stock mufflers, if you're interested.

I am interested in an exhaust swap. The Fabspeed is a bit over the top for me. I'll be in Santa Barbara on Saturday (tonight) and heading up your way on Monday. Since I'm driving doing an exhaust exchange might be a littel difficult unless you have a shop. Henry 415-794-2682

70Bee,

I've got some Roock mufflers that came off of my TT. They would be a bit louder than the stock mufflers. They are at my home in Moorpark. Contact me a ca993twin@yahoo.com if you want to swing by for a peek...

I left a message for you Henry, give me a call 805-546-0764. The mufflers are off my car, so you can take them with you or we can swap them in my garage(I have a few tools).
