Are they any threads or sites showing how to install a fuel pressure regulator?
Thanks

5 bar FPR?? Whoa... I'd think twice about that high of a pressure before considering installing it.

Installing an FPR is as simple as:
1) Getting to it
2) Pulling the pump relay
3) Cranking engine over to relieve fuel pressure
4) Taking off the fuel and vac lines
5) Unbolting FPR and removing

reverse steps 5, 4, 2 and 1 to install

Here's how I did mine: make sure engine is cold....do not do it with hot engine/exhaust
1. remove intercooler
2. remove blower and associated platics parts
3. place dry rags below the fuel rail-under the valve(looks like a tire valve)
4. push center of this valve to relieve gas pressure...catch gas with rags until no pressure
5. remove rubber hose, and pull out the FPR...I think it has a wide metal clip that slides out before you can pull out the FPR. When you slide this metal clip, you'll need some cajones to pull out the FPR. When replacing the new one you'll need some cajones to push it in enough to where the sliding clip will fit again....definaltely dooable.

Brad has a adjustable unit so he will have to get a fuel pressure gauge and adjust the pressure..

Jaime, do you need cajones or cojones?

Great explanation, avoids timely trial and error. Thanks

Thanks a lot for your help guys. The folks at DEVEK where I got the FPR have been really helpful as well. I might take some pix for anyone else considering this mod.
