Default What a weekend!

I loaded up my beloved 993tt yesterday and
it headed to the land of golden beaches and overly tanned
skin. A few hours later a covert operation was taking place
on the east coast. A car (my new one) was being loaded
into a transport and heading my way. Yes, I admittely
have gone to the dark side as the first thing I must check
on my "new" (used Porsche), is the anti-freeze level!
For a variety of reasons (that only my sick mind could under-
stand), I have procured a 996 Twin Turbo. There I have
said it, and feel better. My local 993TT buddied have all
but disowned me so I was hoping someone would understand. I will update with pictures and further info
next week when it arrives.

It doesn't take long to sell a 993TT. You sold yours pretty quick, as did myself, CJ, and John. Hope you are happy with the new car. Keep us updated.

Congrats on your sale Bob, and do we know where you are
moving to and what you will be doing? (and thanks for all
your help!)

Marty, Marty, Marty - -

How did we lose you? You seemed so, well, borderline rational, but I guess not.

Believe me, I understand the lure of antifreeze as I still waffle between the 993tt and 996tt. Selling my 993tt hasn't been without regret and perhaps I'll suffer for both of us on that one, so here's wishing you a pleasant and regret-free experience with whatever it is you purchased. My money's on an M5 or a 996. Do tell.

Midnight Blue Metallic, Blk interior, 6-speed (no tippy for me).
Now, what exhaust; europipe?,Psi,Ruf,Cargraphic?
Turbos; hybrid?, k24, garret ball bearings?
Oh, wait a minute, I havn't even driven it. Maybe a stocker will suit

I went to the darkside as well. I sold my 1997 993tt and bought a 2001. With the falling prices, you get a big bang for your buck. Exhaust is key. With an aftermarket exhaust your turbos will spool up quicker, as well as extra horspower. The next is a chip. Both aren't cheap, but the pay off is huge.

Good luck and welcome to the darkside.
