would love to. do u have a recommendation of what to put in its place?
It has been comfort with ECU programming that has prevented me (and others i know) from moving forward with your turbos.
in short, Gunter has been unreliable, and most other people just want to use the same program that was written 8 yrs ago for normal k16 or k24 turbos.

thanks.. rob

May i ask what you are doing with the '96 993TT ecu's?
As i understood it, the '97 ecu is the desirable ecu, because it is easily programmed.
Are you working on programming for the '96 ecu?

My 2000 post and... I have been working toward the solution for the '96 ECU programming. As I have mentioned I need cores to cut down on the wait time.

I'll trade you mine for a '97 in the mean time.
One day i'll be looking to do some turbos and programming, just not today. This is good news for me! It would be great not to have to buy a '97 ecu when the time comes.

Hmmm...Sounds like there is going to be a few very nice turbo kits offered to us sometime soon, hold on to your monies and partial mods guys, these will not be GIACs! (not very succesful with 993TTs)
Kevin, will 996s K16 work?I can try to find you some over here.

I am fitting women's pantyhose around my 2 K&N filters to avoid sand grains going through them straight into the turbos, it is scary what you see stuck there, in sandy/dusty places, I believe we don't have enough protection..
In your case, any specific pattern of what is causing the FOD with these cores?
