Default New Porsche owner

Hi Guys, greeting from Norway. I have bought my first Porsche after 40 years of dribling over one. My first Porsche is a 1995 993 twin turbo which I got yesterday. I have installed a FVD K24 turbo kit, cat bypass, PSS9 and camber plates and I must say, this is quite a package. I have driven Audi quattros with 400 hp plus for some time and have finally got my first Porsche. Tomorrow is a trackday, and I can't wait to try it out. The kit missed a rod, so the rear sway bar is disconnected and with some old tires, I need to be careful. Hopefully I can supply you guys with some pictures over the weekend.

Hans

The Porsche impress me more and more. You can cruise along, and my daughter who has had the license for 6 months had no problem driving it. At the same time, the 993 tt is really made for the track and the PSS9 really does it's job. The rear sway bar is currently missing and it understeered untill it suddenly oversteered. As an old quattro driver I know to do the irrational thing - when powersliding, give more power to let the 4 wheel drive pull you in again. Great fun in the wet. Anyway, here are a few pics.
Anyone with experience with adjustable swaybars? I have standard only and would like to know if there is much to gain by replacing them with adjustable ones.
By the way, the wheels are BBS Motorsport Magnesium 9x18 and 11x18.

Hans

Thanks guys, yes it was worth the wait! It has been a while. I wrote to get my first Porsche brochure back in 1967, and have given the same answer every Christmas and birthday the last 30 years when somone have asked what I want for a gift - Porsche Turbo.
Well I just got new Pirelli P Zero Corsa R tires and I am going for a trackday again this weekend. This is an event with 20.000 spectators www.gatebil.no where a lot of extreme cars are gathered.
