Hans, beautiful car, congratulations. You are going to have a blast in a few months when the snow is back! As an ex-Audi Quattro driver, I am sure you master the art of driving sideways.

I drive my car with the front sway bar disconnected, and I love the handling.

If you want appropriate sway bars, you should try out the 993RS ones, or alternatively I have the TRG (The Racers Group in the US) sway bars that are thicker still and adjustable front and rear. You have many suppliers in Europe, I would try www.carnewal.com for starters.

I have sold 3 of my ex-Porsche cars in Norway, to a friend of mine there who is an air cooled 993 freak too, he lives in Skien, you should get together. He currently has a Manthey 540 engine in his black TT that looks exactly like yours with the BBS and all.

Enjoy your car, it looks amazing, and keep track pictures coming please.

Thanks for the tip Jean. I will check out the swaybars with my local dealer.
I considered the car in Skien, that now has a full GT2 body kit, very nice but expensive.
I will try to get some pictures this weekend. In the meanwhile, please enjoy some movies from where I come from - quattro. check out movie # 18 on tarmac and # 33 on ice, # 34 is my son. http://www.audisentrum.no/quattro/ I will try to make some Porsche movies as well.

Talking Gatebil Trackday 8. - 10. July 2005

Hi again guys. As promised here are some pictures from last weekend, friday to sunday. Trackday with blue sky and 30 degrees in the shade, nearly 70 degrees on the tarmac. "Gatebil" (streetcar trackday) is a big event in Scandinavia with 22.000 people watching.
The Porsche still impresses me. No problem to drive faster than nearly all other cars on the track, Skyline, Viper, Cosworth, BMW with 1100hp, etc. Handling and brakes are most impressive. Reaching 200 km/h and braking on the 100m mark is no problem. Many of the cars had problems with boiling, no problems with air cooled though. Thanks to Jan Petter who took the pictures. Afterwards I cruised home with the AC and stereo on. Porsche owners are really priviledged.

You guys must think I do nothing else than driving on the track, so do the guys at work. Anyway, I was on the track again yesterday and met this guy with a 996 GT3. Great car, lighter with even better handling, but not the grunt like the turbo. The 993 tt drew the longest straw. We had great fun together! Enjoy the pictures.

Hans,

-So where's the Porsche videos? That's what I wanna see.
-Is the Gold color style on the BBS coming back? I see you and the GT3 are sporting the look.
