Do 996 seats bolt into a 993??

i know we had this debate in another thread.
It is clear that 996 non-power sliding seats will work.
It is not clear that 996 power seats such as sport or comfort seats will work as the rails slope differently and the height is also different.
This is partially why there is zero market for 996 sport seats removed from gt3 cars as they really dont fit into older 911 models

Manufacturers look for ways to streamline their products. If a GT3 race seat out of a 996 fits in a 993, I would be amazed if Porsche decided to change the bolt patterns and floor pan design for 996's that have been equipped with sport or comfort seats so that these seats fit in no other 911 model. Simply put, it would go against the grain of Porsche's economic model and be without logic.
Now, the electrical harness is a different matter entirely.

(Disclosure: they bolt in but the sliders are a bit too high for my 5' 11.5" body and required buying Bre-Krause side panels to gain a tad more room. But they did bolt right in.)
