Question transmission rattle

I hear a transmission 'rattle' when accelerating slowly in all gears except 6th. Above 3000rpm's it isn't there at all. Only hear it when going thru the gears below 3krpm, especially if you lug it slightly.
It seems to be coming from the shifter, mid car area. Any thoughts on what this is? The car shifts beautifully although i can get it to do the truck tranny noise thing by downshifting into 1st while going 20mph.
The dealer just changed the oil and noted some shavings on the magnet but not much.
Was considering sending it to the gentleman in Cincinnati or S. Kaspar for 'beefing up" but maybe that'd be overkill.
Thanks for any info/insights.

Could you explain the noise itself a little bit further?

Do you often do hard launches or quick downshifts on tracks for examples?

Could this be the LWF rattle?

Was at the 1/4 strip some time ago and made 5 runs, the best et being 12.56@113mph otherwise I've never done hard launches. The gears don't grind at all and the shifter moves smoothly. I held the shifter a bit and that didn't decrease the noise. It's just a light rattling noise that doesn't occur in 6th at all. No rattle at idle although I am using VB's LWF.

It's stock except for a b&b muffler. It's the complete VB LWF kit. The best run occured with letting the clutch out moderately fast with the engine at 1500 rpm then flooring the gas after it engaged.

I get the same rattle at low revs - only since fitting a LWF.

Yea, my mechanic sez it's nothing. Feel like I dodged a bullet!
