Robins numbers add up to more than what I have seen. what I have seen in Excellence and other places is roughly for US/canada is 1200 for 96 model year. 650 for 97 and----182 for 98 turbo S.
But everytime I find the info its different.
what I would do is pick the best numbers(for you) to get a better rate--- ask them what they want to hear!!

OldGuy that is exactly what I did. I had to have under 1500 per year production and the p-car website fit the bill. Why is it that no one knows the actual number produced for these cars?? We are 3 for 3 with different numbers on this post alone.

Every time someone asks about production numbers, someone refers them to this Porsche web page: http://www2.us.porsche.com/english/u...odelle_993.htm.

I have been there a bunch of times...can someone please point me to where on this page the production numbers are referenced? I can't find them

John - go to that page and click on the picture of the " 911 Turbo 3.6 Coupé (1995)", the left-most picture in the second row of pictures. You'll get a pop-up window with specs for the car and in the second column you'll find a listing for "units produced"

O.K. Here it is:
Original Porsche 911 by Peter Morgan, printed 1998

Page 138, data section, official production numbers:

1996 Turbo: 2484
1996 Turbo US: 1357
1997 Turbo: 972
1997 Turbo US: 1048

That's as officially printed as I know of.

Robert
