Default New car - on the road back

i'm currently holed up in Madison, WI on the way back to Minneapolis with my new to me 96 993tt - speed yellow. Picked up in Orlando and hit the road at 3pm yesterday. Will post pix once I get back. This car may be the most fun you can have with yer clothes on.

Congrats Doug !

I know the feeling. I did not want to stop on the way home with my TT. Everytime I would come out to the car from a stop, I would go...Wow, this is really mine !

SY Rules...

Here are some pix of the car mentioned above. It was just given a quickie wash. Still needs a good wax.

Doug,

Beautiful car. Hope you did not draw too much official attention with that flash of yellow.

dfarrow,
Awesome car!!

Think about getting black mats to offset the interior and match the dash and trim pieces. It will look great and be much easier to keep clean than those grey mats. Food for thought.

P.S. - someone had a post a month or two ago about offsetting black mats in various interiors if you're interested. Do a search and you'll see what I am talking about.

Love the S.Y.

Robert - I remember that thread from a while back and it is exactly what I'm planning to do. Would you do true black or graphite?

On a related note, I'd like to thank all the wonderful folks here who have answered questions and provided guidance (directly or indirectly) to the buying process. Rennlist rocks.

Doug,

I think you got a great deal on that car. Speed Yellow is a pretty desireable color, and the miles are crazy-low. You got yourself a winner. Have a great time with that car.
