Default Driving impressions of H&R PCS and RSS coil over kits?

Hi Guys, if you've had the PCS and/or RSS coil over kit from H&R, I'd be interested to hear what you thought of it, both on track and street. The RSS should be much firmer:

PCS: 230/400lb springs
RSS: alu monoball kit 460/685lb springs

I'd presume the PCS is nicer on street and more wallowing on track, while the RSS might be hard on street but very good on track.

Enlighten me on these if you've got em. Thanks!

You'd be better off with a set of PSS9's

Why? Considering that H&R supplys the supercup cars in Europe and also produces the GT3 OE suspension, which isn't too shabby, what's your point based upon? Please share real insight if you've got experience w/the H&R kits as the thread asked. Thank you. PSS9's are not in question here.

Very few people run them anymore... Full race coil overs are very harsh on the street.. H & R hasn't offered anything new since the PSS9's came out.. Another option is to buy Porsche Supercup shocks and purchase the springs of your choice.. which is what I have done. Bilstein makes the shock anyway in the H & R, if you buy surplus Cup shocks you can valve them for any setting that you want..

You can choose you spring rates.. This route is generally cheaper than buying H & R coilover setup.. I made the spring caps, spacers, and locks.. Again the PSS9's offer a greater range of options to fine tune your ride comfort..

Kevin,

Bilstein will also revalve the PSS9's as they are currently doing to my rears to match new springs.
One of these days soon we need to talk.....(unless I can talk CJ out of his mods...)
