I have Bailey's. Others use Forge. Both have been reported to be solid improvements over the stock diaphrams. I'm not aware of any other DV's routinely used on 993TT besides these two.

Meaning you make your own, or some other entity makes them for you and you sell them under the IA name?

NO they are a valve that opens on decel. They are designed to release pressure from the intake side to keep air from smacking the throttle when closed. If this happens the air rolls back and stalls the turbo. That knocks seals out. The valves open up and prevent this.

Wastegates open up to release pressure from the exhaust side which slows the speed of the turbo down thus lowering the boost.

Yes, we label them. We use to sell Forge, but now have these made instead.

So, on the 993tt where are the waste gates located? Are they attached on the turbo, or near the turbos? Also, what do the diverter valves look like and where can I find them?

ps. thanks for the explanation.

Jamie,

The wastegate are on the turbos. They are the little pods mounted on them with the rod going to the arm on the turbo. The BOVs are in the rear of the motor. One behind the MAF and the other behind the heater motor. Both are time consuming, but easy to get to.
