I have thought about painting the backs of the seats red, but they are so pretty as they are it is hard to make myself deface them. As far as the bumper, I want the euro look, but you basically have to buy a new bumper and all new parts. I will get there in due time, but I am fine for now.

Default Wheels look great on Red.

I think they get lost a little in silver as you can see on page 2. I saw your car in Red at a show once. It just shines something special.

Robert,

Lots of us have had very good success with patching the USA bumper. Mine was done 18 months ago... still perfect.

Default Steve, Patch

You know steve on my old c2s I did not want to do that. I spent more to buy a new bumber. You mean that patch holds?

Money not well spent.

Steve,
That's true, but for what it's worth I could keep the original bumper as is and pay for a new euro bumper and have it painted. It is a little more money, but at least I could keep the original bumper intact. Just a thought.

John H.,
Here are two pics of the sub the way Pete installed it. He installed it in a removable case with a quick disconnect. It sounds absolutely awesome!

Robert, beautiful car. I think it looks fantastic as is. I never mess with amber lights, bumpers, etc. and think of all that as elective surgery - to be replaced only if damaged. However, I do love the Turbo S lip. It finishes the aesthetic lower line of the car. It was almost as if Porsche designed the rest of the car with the lip in mind for the Turbo S. I will admit however that the early 996TT bumperettes were really ugly and I probably would have removed them even if I did not have any incident. Good luck with the car.

I agree, now. When I first saw a Turbo S lip on a 993TT, I thought it looked kind of aftermarket-ish and thought it was a little too much. But if you REALLY look at the body lines of a 993 with the flared side skirts actually built into the car, the front skirts really wrap nicely into it and makes it look like it was meant to be there.

But I have to admit, the first time I saw one I thought I would never own one with it. I guess opinions do change!!
