Marty,
OT, but since you are in So. Cal. We are planning for a Maibu Run on 2/20. Why don't you come out and join us. Please look on the 993 board under Malibu Run. Hope to see you and your beautiful TT there.
Congrats and Enjoy (I'm sure you will).

For your records, you have a TTP or Cargraphic intercooler
Crower rods or Carrillo rods?
What are your specs on your cam?
And for your future records you should find out what your compression ratio is..
The more info that you can retain, is worth more $$$ when you sell the car.. Like which heads are on your car 993TT or 993NA which are modified..

I iwll have to check on the inter cooler. Thanks though.

993TT Heads...
I dont think they were touched. FVD P/C.
Marty
My old car was a 98 993S. So this car is just amazing to me. The old owner is a long time friend so he drove this when I had my old S. Always wanted it.

It seems that the usage of FVD P&C confirms it, as the 2.2mm lift camshafts. There must have been some work done on the heads to fit them, and probably they put mechanical rockers and better springs in there.
Those packages are well balanced and very fast, I am sure Marty will have a blast. With Pauter and Niro rings you also have a very solid engine as long as the ECU is well mapped. The only thing you can still do is get a hybrid K16 from Kevin to replace the K24s and go kick your friend's butt

Marty,
I would be interested if you could ask your tuner if he has any data on the intercooler he has fitted.
Other than this very nice picture:
My data shows the stock I/C being 5%+ better at cooling than the one above.

I think he meant crower, not crowder. Also if you are running the f40 kit brakes they could be 14 or 15. I would be interested to know which etc. I like the floating rotors in any event.

Thanks to all...
Tech Art yes. On the Brakes I will have to get back. Crower, ya thats it. As far as the cooler. I will ask. But I do not think so. Its 2x larger I guess. The car is pretty perfect for a day to day driver. So all installs were done very well. When I got the car back I only had to do a few minor things. But otherwise its great. As far as pictures. Of exactly what? And i will get it.

Well, I had a great afternoon. I met Marty, and got a chance to look over his car, and go for a short, but very impressive ride. A couple of observations:
1). His car is amazingly fast. Great gobs of power throughout the normal RPM range. Scary fast. I need to get me some of that! RufRacer once gave my a ride in his Open Road-race ready Ruf... Marty's car feels every bit as fast.
2). His car has a great sound. It has a lumpy cam, sport cats, and some aftermarket mufflers. Its a really beefy sound. I loved it.
3). The rest of his car matched the speed potential. Huge brakes, coil-over suspension, sport seats, magnesium Ruf 19" wheels. The car is in beautiful shape with a bit over 50,000 miles. Goes to show you... you just can't get any better than a tricked-out 993TT. Even a stock 993TT ain't so shabby.
4). Marty is a neat guy, and just getting to know Rennlist. I hope I didn't scare him off.
5). Rennlist is a great forum... I have made so many friendships here. Be sure to welcome Marty to this board.
Thanks for the ride Marty. My smile is still glued on.

Beautiful pictures Steve. Both cars are truly great! Is it in common in California to remove front wipers? Is it...legal?
Those RUF 19" have to be the nicest wheels on a 993 if you are after a classy look, and the colour of the calipers is growing on me the more I look at the pictures, do you have the colour code Marty? Very nice!
