It was a Turbo S. Totally different animal than a non S and that price was probably right in line with that market.

And I passed on an S in 2009 because I thought $150K Canadian, which was parity to US$ at the time, was not worth the 50% premium over the non S. Oh well.

don't look back 150k in 2009 height of the financial crisis as big $ at the time

Fully agree. I recently spent $95k on a beautiful blck 2005 993 coupe and now have to spend an additional 20k on new wheels, brakes, kw suspension, fan belt and a few other bits
Dont intend to sell for a long time but its pricey now with this bill

You can only decide if it’s expensive once put the other side.
I have a friend who did TWO engine rebuilds on a 993 turbo (fixed boost controller issues). Cost 90% of the car!

my advice is use it every opportunity you get
