Help with identifying a small part
I am trying to find a small interior trim part that I lost and cannot identify, even with the help of the Porsche parts department or Google. I have a 993 Turbo S, and just about the only thing that is not perfect on it is that it is missing a couple of the caps that cover the screws that hold the front seat hinge covers on. At the base of the front seat backs, there are hinge covers on each side. Each of those covers has two screws. I'm not sure if all 993s had covers over those screws, but my car does. Unfortunately, I am missing a couple of them. They don't have part numbers, and I can't find similar plugs anywhere else in the car.
If anyone knows what I am talking about, and how I can get these, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
Thanks.

Good luck on that one! The leather covered pieces will be a challenge. I'd suggest you find a "Porsche Classic" dealer and see if they can help. Here is a link to the seat catalog in pdf. 993 seats are almost 3/4 of the way through it at page 550.

They look like the bolt cover for the seat belts to me and not a seat part.

Thanks for the reply. They are much smaller than the bolt covers. They really are plugs rather than caps. Smaller than a dime.
Here is a picture of one, along with the space for the missing one.

I think I may have it figured out. Once I get it done, I'll post an "after" picture if it works.

I think it turned out pretty well. I found matching paper-thin leather and coved the plastic plugs, which were a generic size and type for that hole size.
