Default black wheels on speed yellow TT

what do you guys think about the black TechArt wheels for a speed yellow TT? It looks good in the catalog. How does it look in person.
Any other suggestions?

I prefer rims with a lip...so I'd personally go with black or graphite Kinesis K58Rs (these are what Kim has on his Yellow Zonker IIRC) with a polished lip on a yellow car.

I suppose if you hate to clean brake dust it could be appealing.

maybe so... but at least it solves my brake dust problem..

Unbelievable detail in your pics Yellowfly! I think your rotor cracks are about at the limit, time for the 15" brakes.

My buddy has a late 95 993 speedyellow C4 with RUF 18 inch five spoke black rims with a speedyellow lip by the tire and speedyellow RUF on the hub caps. The car has black interior and I think it makes the car stand out and looks a lot better that the silver rims that were O.M.E. from Porsche. The C4 has silver brakes and they show great thru the black spokes. I like the whole look. This is one opinion!!!!

I love the combo of Techart black rims with the yellow lip on a SY. I also like the black rim combo with Silver. I was even contemplating it on my blk/blk TT, but that would probably have been overkill. In any case, a big thumbs up on the SY, imho.

I saw a 993 a few years ago at the '97 Parade in Fly Yellow with black rims on it. It looked amazing! However, the outside lip was also painted yellow to match the car. It was STUNNING! I would do it in a second if my 911 was the right color! Best wishes -Jay Gratton

911/Q45,
me thinks so too... my wallet doesn't seem to cooperate so well though.
i've been eyeing them for a while now... once the rotors start to thin out a little, i'll probably get them replaced.

Sam,
TC trackday this weekend 7thfeb.. be there!

thanks for all the replies to this post

Also, AMG ETR emailed me some pictures of his Yellow TT with some amazing looking wheels on it. He might post the pictures later.
