Default Looking for pics of black 993 Turbo w/996T wheels

Does anyone have a good, clear pic of a black 993 Turbo with 996T wheels on it? If so, can you please email them to me at fkassam@direct.ca It would be greatly appreciated.

A black 993 Turbo has come up for sale in the right price range and I'm thinking of pulling the trigger. They are so hard to find where I live and rarely come up. I don't know if I'm a big fan of black, but I wasn't a big fan of midnight blue, but love the colour now that I've had it for 2+ years.

Black isn't that far off right?

If others have nice shots of their black 993 Turbos that are lowered, I'd love to get those too. Thank you.

Black, lowered and 996TT wheels. Do you need 600HP? If so, just buy my car...

Bob,

I seem to see the residue of a car wash surrounding your beast! Looking good!

Hope to see you this weekend!!!

Each time as I approach my garage I keep thinking I can't love my black 993TT anymore than I already do and each time I set eyes on it, I end up loving it just a little bit more. A well kept black Porsche is just soooo beautiful, imho.

Pics, Bob, pics!!

I particularly want to see the new GT2 wing and nose. (BTW, was it you who said the Turbo S wing provides somewhat greater functionality than the standard Turbo wing (can't remember if it was downforce or intake air)?, as I'm thinking about changing to the TTS wing).

Bob,

I can't wait to see your car again after she's been rubbed down. Let's discuss plans for a visit. PM me and we'll set it up. I'd also like to discuss the TRG sway bars too. I took a look on their site and from the picture they don't look like most of the sway bars I have seen. For example they look like straight bars. Also, what do you recommend in the way of front strut bars. Is there one make that stands above the rest and is there an advantage to the multi-piece setup vs. say a single bar like on the GT2?

Thanks bob!

Mike,

I'll send you a PM tonight. The bars you are looking at are from a circa '70s-'80s Porsche 911. There is no picture there for the bar. We can discuss the strut bar in the PM...

My car is still not as awesome looking as yours, but it is way better than it was...

John, The Turbo S wing has better intake and down force on the rear, and better down force on the front. I will hopefully have the GT2 front spoiler tomorrow from the paint shop.....

hey,

You all hi-jacked my thread I can't blame you though, I'm sure viperbob will have my visa card memorized once I get the 993T. I can never have enough HP, being a racer and all.

In fact, I am in the process of scoping out parts to bring my racecar from 475hp to 525hp. I want my hillclimb class record back again!!!!

Please please please, more pics of black 993 Turbos, lowered would be ideal. I spent the last 20 min. staring at a 993 C4S in the parking garage that is also black. Hope the owner or security didn't see me

Bob, if you're going to take more photos of your car, trying taking some at very low angles, like almost ground level. You'll be amazed at the new viewpoint. Then, send me your raw photos and I will make them look nice for others. Your last photo looked a bit blurry.

No I am not seriously considering selling.

TB - It will be at the 600HP level after my next tweek with the turbos. I am leveling off there and actually holding back a little becuase I do not want to crack the engine at this point and install new rods, rod bolts, etc., etc. I was planning to do a hybrid K24/26 setup, but instead I'll settle on a zero clearance with a slightly larger cold side wheel. The other mod I was considering on the intake that is good for 35-50HP on the top end I am not even going to consider until I do get the engine work done... Carrera GT and I are planning a dyno day soon as a before and after on the car. My best guess right now upon my relative speed on the track compared to others is about 550-575HP right now.

I also have a couple of tricks up my sleeve that I will also be dynoing to see if they improve the HP or the torque curve. If they pan out, then I'll start offering them for NA 993s and Turbos... Stay tuned.
