Default 993 TT Should I ?

Hello

Can you folks please persuade me that it is absolutely stupid to go inspect, drive and review the service records of a '97 993 TT with less than 20,000 miles.....one owner, good color combo, average options and not a garage queen.....

If I falter.......I may be estatic.......

Any quick advice?

Cheers

You only get to live once. Enjoy yourself... if you can afford it, why not?

You folks are right.....a '97 993 TT is a addictive and I was set to be an addict....It was the absolute perfect car for me; during my prolonged test drive on the back roads, another addict delivered a full price offer with good funds......sight unseen

After I am released for treatment of my subsequent nervous breakdown, I suppose I venture back out into the market

What a ride, what brakes at well above 100mph

And I am

PS....the clutch was about 75 % gone

The market for TTs is definitely heating up. Look at just the people on this board trying to find one...

Good luck.

The 993 tt is an amazing car. My first ride in a Porsche turbo was the test drive in my 993 tt. I drove approx 2 miles down the road - turned around - pointed the car uphill on the country road we were on and redlined it through first and second gear grabbed third and put it to the floor - I let off before red line the the car was already mine. One mile later I let the salesperson know that I would take it. It was about as impulsive a decision as I have ever made in my life.

I just took the car out on date night tonight to see the movie Cold Mountain. The drive to and from the theatre was as good as the movie. My car is immaculate because I only drive it at the perfect times when it's nice weather - low traffic and no stress.

I suggest that you buy the car as long as you have a garage to park it in.
