Default P0 Rosso vs. Asimetrico

Any thoughts on the Rossos vs. the Asimetricos? The local Pirelli dealer told me they are similar......

They are not. The PZero Asimmetrico (N1 or N2) is better suited to the older 993. Whereas, the PZero Rosso Asimmetrico is a newer tire designed to complement the more modern chassis of the 996. If you care about ultimate dry performance, the older PZero is the better tire. However, the Rosso is a little better in the wet while also being quieter and a bit more comfy.

I bought a set of Pirelli Zero Rosso Asimmetrico N4 this week.

There are also P Zero System Asimmetrico but that is the now discontinued model.

So buy the new ones and you have both Rosso and Asimetrico.
The red label looks cool. The "wheel protection" looks odd but really helps.

Can not say anything about performance yet, because the tires dont like that white stuff on our streets in the winter.

I don't believe they are discontinued yet. Still on Pirelli's web site and widely available in the US, at least. Is it not at all available in Germany?

Pirelli PZero Asimmetrico
