Default Sticker Price

This is for those of you luckey enough to have a window sticker. I had downloaded a window sticker off an ebay sale and was trying to interpolate my sticker price. It had worked out around 103K. But when I was at the dealership yesterday and they were getting my code number the screen also showed a MSRP, which was 108.887k which was way more than I had figured. The only extra cost options I'm aware of are soft leather, crest in headrest and floormats. The big red brakes were standard I thought, although the sticker I have shows titanium calipers as a 1175 extra. How does this figure with the cost on your sticker? I also have sun roof and cruise options, but I think they are no charge.

Bill, you can phone Porsche America and give them your VIN. They'll tell you all the factory option codes which you can then look up on the Porsche Option Decoder

I've got the sticker under the hood that shows all the codes, just trying to match them to what would be the sticker price. Thanks.

You can also call Porsche Cars North America and ask for a Certificate of Authentication - I think they're $90 these days. It will give you the car's "birthday", list all the factory options (by name, not by option code), and will indicate the MSRP.

They will ask you to provide proof of ownership (bill of sale, title, etc), and you can do it via fax (you should call to see what the current practice is). It took several weeks for them to process my requests.

Old Guy, thanks..that was a lot of typing. Q45 that is why I couldn't figure the price...the sticker I had was a 99k base. I guess mine made it to 105k base because the numbers add up exactly. The only factory options I have are supple leather 398,crest in headrest 100, and floor mats 110. Have a remote cd but it was put in after delivery. That 99k price must not have lasted long..as my car was delivered 11/20/95.
